...And So It Begins
Amy and I finally made the difficult decision to begin a blog site. It seems to be the norm for adoptive parents, as well as a wonderful way to simultaneously journal and communicate. I hope that everyone enjoys reading this blog and we will do our best to share pictures, stories, and possibly some quirky drivel that will do nothing more than waste your time. Amy is tired right now, so you can blame me for this all too abrupt beginning.

Welcome to the world of blogging! What wonderful news... and this is a great way to keep us all informed!! We love and miss you guys, and we'll be praying for you all in this exciting time! ~the Dillmans
That is awesome news. I have been praying so hard that she would be able to come soon. The Bible study I have been doing has been talking about miracles and I have been praying that God would work a miracle in her life and allow her to come soon. What an amazing answer!
Love,
Lesley (and Jared, I will tell him the news when he gets up tomorrow)
This is wonderful news! We are so proud of you and thankful for answered prayer. I keep HaiYan's picture above the computer in my office and pray for her and you three throughout the day.
Love,
Dad
We are so happy for you all!! Congratulations on the great news! Hope all the details just fall into place and that any decisions that you need to make will be obvious and as easy as possible. We'll keep on praying! Just let us know if you need anything. Take care!
Love,
Tim and Barb
God is so good, isn't He! I'm so glad to get your e-mail/blog because I've been wondering and praying about the process. This is so timely because I'm getting ready to pain my bedroom and bathroom walls this weekend. The name of the paint color is Chinese Violet (a lovely dark lavendar) and it makes me think and pray for little HaiYan. I can't wait to meet my newest cousin! Love to all - Katrina
Yay, this is wonderful! I'm so happy that you guys are doing a blog. Emma, Isabelle and I have been praying for their two new cousins (HaiYan and the bun in the oven)before bed each night. We've also been praying for Elizabeth and the changes she will soon experience.
Love ya,
Cherish
I am so glad that you have started a blog. I hope you don't mind, I have put a link on my blog to yours. I look forward to reading all about your adoption adventures.
James, Amy, and Elizabeth,
Great idea to start a blog!(easy for me to say) Mom & I are praying that God will prepare the way for all that is to come, and that you will have clear direction all the way. Tell Elizabeth we're anxious to see her new sister.
Love to you all,
Dad Tanner
Amy,
I'm so happy to hear that God is bringing his plan closer to fulfilment. I am praying that the doctor will clear you to travel to China. When I was 5-1/2 months pregnant with the twins, I flew to be with my mother who needed surgery. I remember that I felt sick on the plane while we were landing and threw up in one of those little paper sacks after everyone else had gotten off; I remember that my Dad came on to the plane to get me and took me home to a hot bath...but most of all I remember that my Mom was so happy to see me, and I was so glad that I'd come.
